French engineer Franky Zapata crossed the English Channel on a flying platform with five jet engines, reports BMF-TV. Zapata took off from the town of Sangat on the northern coast of France at 8:17 a.m. and landed in St Margaret's Bay in the English county of Kent 22 minutes later. The distance that Zapata flew on his device, which he himself invented, is 35 kilometers.
