Gm gm – so I entered a $500 raffle survey today, and I’m actually proud of myself because I took time to read the Terms and Conditions. That’s when I saw the funny part: winners must only come from Australia or New Zealand.
Even after seeing that, I still submitted it anyway – at least now I know I’m not winning anything, so I won’t stress my hopes 😆
But honestly, why do companies lure us in to collect our data, then hide important details that would make us rethink participating?
Low-key, this is why I believe a browser extension that auto-summarizes T&Cs and flags suspicious clauses would be a game-changer. What do you think?
