Woo the Builder's Orgin Story ACT I: A NEW WORLD. First purchased Bitcoin on May 5th, 2012. Yep, on Cinco de Drinko I bought 45 BTC for $311. Did I read Satoshi's white paper and become a CypherPunk freedom fighter? Nope. More like some rando at the bar went full Jehovah's Witness on me about a drug marketplace called the Silk Road. With my $311 worth of BTC I purchased 2G's of Ketamine and a full sheet of LSD. Pressing the purchase button was climax worthy. Every day for the next 14 I was Christmas Eve level excited & couldnt wait to see Santa dressed as a delivery guy. Day 14 to 42: Excitement turned to paranoia as I was 100% positive The DEA would definitely be kicking down my door any minute now. Day 45: Reality of the situation begins to come clear. Neither the DEA nor the Drugs I ordered on the Silk Road would be showing up at my door anytime soon. As of today I'm still waiting on both. Some would argue not much has changed since 2012.
