A testament to how music often takes on a life of its own. Initially, I wrote this demo aiming for a Latin Tom Waits vibe from his *Mule Variations* album—heavy, brooding, and mysterious. When I handed it to Matt, our lead singer, he transformed it into something far more sensual, yet still retained that mystery. Every time I listen to it, I can’t help but feel a touch of Claudja Barry in there.
