If all commerce eventually converges to agentic commerce via an aggregator like openAI, how does that shift where suppliers provide value? In other words, I'm guessing many buyers use amazon bc its the default, and is familiar, but if you imagine just asking chatGPT to find and buy you things you don't really care as much if it comes from amazon, or walmart, or wherever.
You might care though if amazon provides a better delivery service, or offers you "points" or rewards or bundles.
Amazon won't be able to ride on convenience as the core value prop anymore, and I wonder how that shifts the value served the the consumer. Probably for the better?
