As great as it is to see more stablecoin adoption as “validation” of cryptos utility, the experimental phase of crypto was much much more fun to be a part of. I miss nouns, I miss cool non grifty projects like loot, the idea of a composable and open data layer is so much more interesting than letting dropshippers save a few nips on their Shopify stores Post founder fatigue hit fc hard. Wish it weren’t true but this place doesn’t feel as strong as it did when Dan and co were around. Feels like they gave us, and by doing so took the wind out of the sails and put the nail in the coffin Multiple crypto products pivoting to AI. Nothing left here but stablecoins. Maybe this was always the eventual fate, but it sucks
