The big one from Delaney is Dahlgren which I have not read. It’s supposed to be quite difficult (like Finnegan’s Wake kinda difficult). I read one other shorter one & really liked it: “Nova”

Flatland, The Cyberiad, Cat’s Cradle and anything there by Samuel R. Delaney or Olaf Stapledon. I’ve only actually read Flatland out of that selection, but have read other works by the authors.

These look crappy on phone screens, sorry. You need a computer monitor or at *least* an iPad to see them properly. The bigger the better, IMHO.

I tried restricting the algo to only produce “good” compositions, but it was leaving out far too many good ones. I’m going to leave un-nerfed and make it a free Open Edition instead, so everyone can be sure to get one they like.

I definitely agree we don’t have much control anymore. I saw “the cloud” as a bad idea and started a company to offer an alternative, but when it came right down to it: people did not want to back up their own stuff. It’s not the only reason we failed but that was a big contributor. People *wanted* to give their photos to Google (and now Apple). It was hard to buck that trend and maybe impossible now.
