Oh boy. It’s been a while since I watched a lot of movies. A few favourites would be: Blue Velvet because David Lynch & Dennis Hopper is 🔥 Naked Lunch & Videodrome because I love David Cronenberg (though James Woods can get stuffed). Blade Runner, director’s cut, fuck the voiceover! Memento (🤯) The Imitation Game because Alan Turing was a hero and I literally balled my eyes out in the theatre at the end (I have read his biography and it’s all just so very sad). Yojimbo, the first Kurosawa movie I ever saw. There have been many great foreign films, but they were all so long ago for me that I can’t remember them very well.
