Honestly, I'd say if you don't want to lose the account, you are better to just change the offence. Otherwise it's so easy to just lose your account and really have no decent option of recovery. It is what it is. Is this on your main cover?

Twitter has been behaving erratic to be honest. I have had 3 - 7+ year old clean profiles being banned indefinitely for generic news and updates post. Its been 2 years and over 8 email appeals and no result. Pathetic to say the least.
