Despite my lack of knowledge, I joined a robotics group in college after switching to mechanical engineering. The club was getting ready for a contest in which they had to construct a robot that could sort objects by color and navigate a maze. My interest in robotics was ignited when I gained knowledge of circuits and programming and helped build the grasping mechanism.
