As a follow up to my previous post, i’ve done some research last night and today, to comprehend what the community objectively think about the LFG experience. First and foremost what are the pros and cons? ✅Pros: Fast & Convenient • LFG is still the fastest way to jump into content when friends aren’t online, allowing instant taps into Mythic+, raids, and PvP. Specially good during launches when heroic dungeons are the sole content you can do PvE wise • Great for casuals & returning players: LFG is a strong fallback for players without a static group. ⚠️ Cons: Community Feel & Experience Issues • The “get through quickly” culture is prevalent. Two EU forum post highlights how LFG now punishes slower or new players. • Many use LFG as a one-shot deal and no long-term commitment. As one Redditor noted: “The vast majority of players are not looking for long term partners and will probably only play that queue session with whoever they find” — To be Continued… —

Another point I wanted to look for was tips for players who seek a better LFG experience, therfore i’ve tried to gather some objective tips and some tips from my own experience 1. Tag yourself for “learning” when forming groups—this attracts more patient teammates and shows people you are here to learn and wipes may occur 2. Consider guild-based LFG tools to connect with friendly players - group up with 1-2 guildies to make the LFG experience easier and more pleasant 3. Run a few low-level dungeons with friends to avoid the worst of the scaling bugs, then jump back into LFG once ypu are comfortable.

So with all that being said, i’d consider LFG as excellent for convenience, speedy runs, solo-friendly systems, and easy access to endgame. But, be ready for a fast, often impersonal experience, with occasional tuning bugs and little room for on-the-fly learning or social interaction. If that fits your playstyle, go for it—but if you crave a community vibe, you’ll get more from guilds and premade group with friends.
