The Honda S2000 is a roadster-bodied sports car produced by Honda from 1999 to 2009. The concept car was first shown in 1995 at the Tokyo Motor Show. It was developed as a production model S2000. The launch of the production car was timed to coincide with Honda's 50th anniversary and continued the tradition of the S500, S600 and S800 roadsters.
