When I was in middle school, I once saw a picture of the Eiffel Tower painted in an Impressionist style in our art textbook. Oh my god, that hazy and dreamy look of it just fascinated me. I started imagining myself standing in front of the real Eiffel Tower in Paris, with a paintbrush in my hand, trying to capture its beauty on the canvas just like those great French Impressionist artists. I even begged my parents to buy me more books about French art. From that moment on, I was always looking forward to one day being able to visit Paris and explore the art galleries there filled with amazing works influenced by different art movements from around the world.
