One design philosophy that we are trying to stay true to is allowing users the freedom to choose their style of productivity. Everyone's workflow is different, but our goal is always the same for a productivity app; Get work done.
Just pushed a tester requested feature for a "flow" mode which allows users to complete multiple tasks per session for when you are in your "flow state" and you don't want to abide by the more rigorous constraints of the pomodoro method.
