This is only True on optimistic L2s. On zk it is a few hours. It is the case because the L1 contract lets a 7 day period for anyone create a fraud proof. Once the bundle is validated on L1 you cannot prove a fraud and rollback. But in the current scenario it should be instant because fraud proofs do not exist already
