Why choose Monad? 1. High throughput and low latency. Monad aims for ~10,000 transactions per second (TPS). It also promises “single-slot finality” (instantaneous final block confirmation) and a short block time (the time between blocks) of about 1 second. 2. Low gas fees / minimal transaction costs. Thanks to its high efficiency, throughput, and optimizations, Monad aims for near-zero gas fees and very low transaction costs. This is especially beneficial for applications with a large number of small transactions (DeFi, NFT projects, GameFi, etc.).
