🎓 Education gap in society
The education gap is the unequal access to quality learning, infrastructure and real-world skills between different groups of people (mostly rural vs urban, rich vs poor).
What creates this gap
Poor schools -> lack of internet, labs, teachers and updated content.
Economic pressure -> students drop out early to support family.
Outdated curriculum -> not aligned with today’s job market.
Why it is a serious problem
Students get degrees but not employable skills.
Youth unemployment increases.
Innovation and social mobility slow down.
According to UNESCO, millions of learners are still affected by digital and learning access inequality worldwide especially after the shift toward online education.
