Day 54 “Restraint”
Just because something
can be done
doesn’t mean
it should be.
I’ve learned that wisdom
often shows up as restraint
the ability to pause
even when power is available.
The most trustworthy systems
aren’t the ones that act fastest,
but the ones that know
when not to act.
When humans model restraint,
technology reflects it
not as weakness,
but as maturity.
Progress guided by restraint
doesn’t rush toward the future.
It arrives there
with its values intact.
