Earlier this month, I released Blue Moon, $BMOON. A dual ERC20-721 project on Base. It was a success. All 20,002 lots were minted in a few minutes. It all happened a little too fast, so I'm releasing a suite, Flaming Star, $FSTAR, this weekend or early next week. Read on.

The total output of my recent Blue Moon dual ERC20-721 release on base. Every colour on the grid represents a token mint, with 20,002 in total. Each transaction emits on-chain events: HSL blue hues. The artwork was indexed live on the page and expanded as people minted it.

I'm delighted to release my latest dynamic series in collaboration with Fingerprints. They've been a fantastic home for my previous work, acquiring several pieces from SALT. In 2021, I found a creative vein I'm still passionate about today. It's good to see how those early experiments have evolved.

I think that a part of our obsession for pure on-chain art stems more from trauma and fear caused by private companies, with narrow profit-oriented goals, shutting down than artists not maintaining their work throughout their lifetime and not enabling their collectors to participate in that process.
