FidCaster Update | A More Independent Client FidCaster is evolving into a fast, resilient and independent Farcaster client. HyperSnap is being integrated as a primary read provider with fallback to Neynar and others when needed, reducing dependency on any single infrastructure source. Our Farcaster write path remains separate, preserving protocol-native signed operations while keeping reads flexible. Share to X is built into the composer. FidCaster resolves the final cast hash before generating its permalink, preventing invalid links from being shared. The FidCaster Mini App is now accessible directly inside the client. FidCaster Direct introduces native private and group messaging, user discovery, replies, reactions, conversation management and a responsive inbox across desktop and mobile. We’ve also improved navigation, responsive layouts, media handling, caching, syncing and stability. More resilient infrastructure. Less dependency. More Farcaster in one client.
