We need builders willing to keep making small, reversible bets rather than declaring an entire category dead because one speculative expression of it failed." well said @dfern.eth 👏 the sentiment around deso rn is oddly reminiscent of all the bitcoin obituaries of the 2010s (e.g. https://bitcoindeaths.com/) despite that, I'm cautiously optimistic about this space because there's no better time to tinker & experiment onchain.. especially as the barriers to entry for building software have gone down significantly most importantly, there are real pain points caused by big tech incumbents that I expect will only get worse for billions of users over time- regulatory pressures for censorship against political dissidents, mandatory digital IDs, social media addiction, etc etc deso is inevitable. it's just a matter of time.
