A snowstorm is predicted and you are currently away from home. Do you leave early to get home before the snowstorm hits, or do you just drive through the snow? I already work from home, and have the perfect answer for cold snowg nights…call a few numbers, make some invitations, and found out who wants to …”snuggle"…throughout the long cold night, under a thick, down filled king sized blanket, in front of a warm fireplace, with a bottle of wine on hand, while the snow storm rages outside. It could be snowpocolpyse outside, I wouldn't even care. I'm doing all my vigorous work beneath the blanket.
How excited do you get when the forecast calls for snow? For me, it’s the greatest news ever. I love snow, and cannot get enough of it. Where and when I grew up, in Austria and Bavaria in the 1970s, we used to get quite a bit of it, and it was always wonderful to see. But then things somehow got snowless. I moved on to northwestern Canada, where I got plenty of it again, now at a whole different level, dry, at minus forty Celsius. It was amazing. Now, in Sweden, we get the same sort of snow as in western Canada. The dry, powdery type, and it blows around like flour. I take a lot of photos all year round, but snow time is when I take the most. Snow is like 3D paper, and it does amazing things with colours and shades. If I had to live on a snow planet, I could absolutely do so.
