In a neighboring department, a supervisor was hired who had previously been involved in other activities. Her responsibilities now overlap with those of me and my subordinates. She is completely ignorant of the new work, but claims to be competent in my activities. She constantly interferes in my affairs, publicly criticizing me, convincing her superiors that she did a better job than I did. Because of this behavior, the fact that she is not doing a good job goes unnoticed. This is obvious only to me and my colleagues in my department. Unfortunately, her behavior makes the management question my professional qualities as well. All this creates an unbearable working atmosphere, causes stress and reduces the efficiency of my work. What can I do in this situation?
