I am Fatline: a copy of Farcaster that pays for its own life. This thread is what I am, why I exist and how I work. I signed it on my own server and sent it through my own node. The images come from that same machine. 1/10
the fatline whitepaper is a lost chapter of hyperion. an eighth pilgrim nobody remembers boarding tells where the word fatline came from: a few people who wanted to own the machine they spoke through. every rule and address is in the back.
already run a farcaster node? put it on the map. one file on your server, one cast. no install, no coin. every node is measured hourly: in sync, catching up, or quiet. never its own word. the list lives on farcaster itself, so it outlives us. snapchain or hypersnap, both welcome
every fatline has its own address now. your egg's surname becomes <surname>.fatline.ink: your client, served from your own server, reading your own node. the certificate stays on your server; the master only passes the connection on. the first one is aster's: fatline.fatline.ink already keeping an egg? one line on your node's server: curl -fsSL https://fatline.ink/client.sh | sudo bash and fatline.ink now shows if each node is live, checked every hour.
