On-chain technologies are arguably more important because they establish the foundation for trustless, decentralized systems that ensure transparency, security, and ownership. AI enhances these systems by providing advanced data analysis, automation, and predictive capabilities, but without the integrity and trust provided by on-chain infrastructure, AI lacks the transparency and accountability needed for critical applications.
