Japan entered the Bitcoin mining market using government resources.
Japan joined the ranks of countries benefiting from government-supported Bitcoin mining and launched a 4.5-megawatt project to mine Bitcoin. This project, in collaboration with hardware company Canaan and a semi-government service company, uses advanced, cooled equipment to balance energy consumption and efficiently utilize renewable energy sources such as solar and wind.
