Arche: A Decentralized Identity Protocol on Base
Abstract
Arche is a privacy-preserving identity layer built natively on Base, enabling users to own, control, and selectively reveal verifiable credentials without exposing underlying data.
Problem
Current identity systems fragment user data across silos, forcing repeated KYC, exposing PII, and creating honeypots for attackers.
Solution
Arche leverages Base’s low-cost EVM environment and account abstraction (ERC-4337) to issue soulbound credentials as encrypted zero-knowledge proofs stored in user-controlled smart wallets.
