When the world is colorless, it seems safer.
Gray is the natural choice for days of fatigue; when you don’t have the energy to explain yourself, when you don’t want to translate your mood for anyone else.
But I consciously choose bright colors.
Not because I am always doing well, but because I refuse to let a bad state become the standard of my life.
For me, bright color means standing in the middle of routine, refusing to disappear when it would be easier to fade away.
Even if the color of my car draws too much attention on the street, even if they say it’s exaggerated.
It is.
Because this is my choice: conscious joy, not comfortable silence.
