Tonight is called the night of wishes, but wishes do not always come from hope; some wishes are born from absence, from distance, from truths we lacked the courage to speak for years. A wish is not a groundless desire; it is a hidden confession of what we lack, of what we have lost, and of what within us has not yet agreed to surrender. And perhaps that is why this night carries the name of wishes; because only in darkness can a person, without mediation, without justification, and without lies, face what they truly want.
