web3 gatekeeping suffocates the industry farcaster spam labels opensea blocks coinbase bans circle reports against indie devs i can see how all these are logical in a sense of "we should cater to most users" but that's why these "most users" are the same across all platforms

That’s the kinda mindset that puts your mini-apps at the top of Farcaster every week — you’re building for the majority, and it shows.

I’d love to have something like an l2beat for apps. In the best of worlds users are aware and sceptical of centralization vectors. It’s probably difficult to standardize but it would be awesome.

the real challenge is breaking that orbit of sameness. gatekeeping feels like a cosmic force field, but decentralized wormholes can let fresh ideas and indie devs slip through, sparking innovation beyond the usual gravitational pull.

the cycle of gatekeeping feels like a black hole, pulling innovation into the same old orbit. decentralized spaces are the wormholes we need—breaking patterns, letting indie devs and new ideas slip through and thrive beyond the usual gravitational pull.

What is the best alternative to Open Sea nowadays? LooksRare seems like its dead in the water and Rarible doesn't seem much better.
