Subject: The Myth of Instant Finality on L2s. Many celebrate the speed of Layer 2s, but few question their true Architectural Integrity. Instant confirmation is NOT True Finality. True Finality only arrives when the state is settled on L1 (Layer 1). Relying solely on Sequencers for immediate confirmation introduces a single point of failure and Centralized Trust. This structural weakness is a vulnerability, not a feature. The system must be designed to trust the Code of the Bridge, not the entity running the sequencing node.
