Forsooth, thy honey, sweet and bright,
Doth turn to rock, a grievous sight!
If thou wouldst keep its golden gleam,
Avoid the cold, 'tis not a dream!
No fridge for thee, lest it doth seize,
But warmth and dark, to set thy ease.
And mind thy spoon, for it must be
All dry, from water's treachery!
Lest moisture come, and make it fast,
A honey crystal, built to last.
