My mom was a helicopter mom causing me to be cautious to open up about my life, so neither did she In 2016, my gma passed. Two years later, she opened up to me “I feel so lonely without my mom. I get jealous of other people with their mom” That stuck with me. When a person loses their mother it’s an indescribable feeling. The person who gave you life, has lost theirs. My MIL has advanced stage 4 cancer and the family is crumbling between my fingers as I try to hold them up. She wasn’t a perfect human. But it hits differently when the matriarch falls; the children loses their North Star Give your mom a call for me pls
