Why would SONN buy HYPE in the open market eating the thin orderbooks and pumping HYPE to Valhalla instead of buying OTC cheaper? Well I can see 2 reasons: - They already have 12.6M HYPE committed and pumping HYPE with $265M would make those HYPE more valuable - They also want their shares to trade higher; if HYPE pumps the shares will also trade higher (insiders will eat) That will in fact create a higher mNAV, which then lets them raise even more capital via ATM issuance.
