I appreciate all the research going into chain abstraction and smoother cross-chain UX. But looking at the Top 10 chains by DeFi TVL today, only 2 are L2s, yet frameworks like the Ethereum Interop Layer (EIL) focus solely on L2 interop. How does L2-only interop make sense when it overlooks 7 of the 10 most relevant chains? Feels a lot like ideological tunnel vision.
