Here’s my recap of the best from All In Summit 2025: - Alex Karp did not hold back, first imploring us to enable the “noble loser” to think they can win. Then saying the NSA and FBI don’t buy Palantir products because they’re too protective of civil liberties. Finally he gave the best quote of the conference saying that “China’s job is to destabilize us, our job to be stable.” Hit even harder today. - Elon ended the conference via video On DC - “the government is unfixable”.. He’s back at Telsa working on robot hands which is the hardest challenge other than spaceships. He’s also training Grok on his own created version of Wikipedia and the besties said he should publish it as Grok-apedia (he’ll ask the team) - Mark Cuban and Tucker Carlson shared the stage, but acted pretty entertaining and goofy, but didn’t add much substance. - They did back to back California panels, with Rick Caruso and the founder of Forever California. This was probably more interesting to people who live in CA, but what Forever is doing to build a west coast ship building hub and connected city was very cool. - Joe Tsai (Alibaba / Brooklyn Nets owner) said China doesn’t want war and the US should collaborate with them on AI. - Zipline drone deliveries - started with a story about saving lives in Africa, but quickly changed tune and talked about dropping off coffee and Buffalo Wild Wings. Became tough to tell which the founder was more focused on and what would happen to Africa if the delivery service got bought out - Kyle Samani thinks “internet capital markets (gambling on Kalshi/Polymarket) will be embedded in all apps/broadcasts - but is that a good thing? - Brian Johnson gave a presentation and made us all stand on one foot with eyes closed. If less than 20 seconds before losing balance, you’re 50 years old His best advice is to optimize resting heartrate before sleep - goal is to lower by 10% by eating final meal 4 hours before bed and screens off 1 hour before bed Also, amber/red lights, end caffeine 10 hours before bed, add a calming routine right before bed sleep = willpower - Eric Schmidt said China isn’t pursuing AGI, they’re focused on applying AI to everything they have already
