There is no evolutionary advantage of sadness as a man. I think we convert all the negative emotions into anger because of this

Hopefully if that's the case we can evolve past it now lol. We need sadness for empathy. If we don't have that we lose our greatest evolutionary advantage - our collective power when we work as a community. Macho individualism is leading us to species collapse.

i think the culture and system we live in are very connected to what you’re saying, or maybe its a general fact, im not sure, because i don’t know non iranian men, but what you’re saying is also seen in our society its really sad that men feel like if they want to talk about their problems, even cry, they’ll be seen as weak my question is (is there any research showing that women have taken advantage of this) or maybe the reason is that men see women as weak and don’t rely on them? or similar reasons? in my opinion, if men trust their partners in any situation and can express their emotions, that life and relationship can become the best version of itself, trust and empathy can make everything better the interesting thing is that for women, if we can’t show our sadness and pain, if we don’t vent, we turn into depressed people, not angry one more thing,? your point is probably about a romantic partner, right? but why don’t men talk to each other and show their feelings? is that also a sign of weakness, or something else? i think this mindset can really cause problems in a shared life, it’s really concerning, you feel like your partner doesn’t trust you

I think there is an argument for sadness being an evolutionary propellant depending on how we view evolution, certainly a lot of science has been born from it (Archimedes taking a bath when sad coined Eureka after all) creativity also counts sadness as a muse.
