Feels like my former Twitter community fragmented. Farcaster owns the crypto crowd, Mastodon various wonky sub communities, Bluesky some amount of crazy Twitter addicts, Threads some random mishmash of journalists. Twitter still best if you want to shitpost and troll.

1) I think that's okay for now. It's easier to gain adoption when you're not 100% novel in the beginning. But over time, I'd love to see more of a shift away from the base Twitter UI to fix some of its inherent flaws. I loved Twitter, but no one should pretend it was a successful business.

I don't follow the crypto space nearly as well as @li, and @dwr is a friend, but honestly Farcaster seems like the one I hear about the most 😁
