Arbitrum fraud proofs - you take the L2 state transition function as a script, compile it to a reduced bytecode target which is transpiled to a custom bytecode format conducive for an onchain execution environment. This custom bytecode is ran using a prover VM that lives on both L1 (written in solidity) and L2.
