the current consensus is that crypto (except btc) is a failed experiment that everything is inherently vapor, they think nothing of value can ever come out of this makes sense it's the consensus opinion at literally the pico bottom of crypto sentiment as almost every consensus crypto twitter opinion, it's also wrong and we will see non-vapor, actual products in a sea of shitcoins, this very app being a good example of a product that has found pmf among atleast a small core of crypto native users tldr; long btc short everything else trade has run it's course imo

i like farcaster cuz i can talk about trades and the audience is just right lol, i can't on X cuz it's mostly ML/tech account anyways funny fact, saw kolscan and most people are trading memecoins still, that's rlly good proof of being early to "utility" stuff the only reason i bought any coin again was because i can see cool shit being built along with tokens (shoutout noice) utility either sticks around or most onchain tokens die, one is slightly more likely than the other imo, well if btc doesn't nuke that is 😛

thoughts on Plasma i'm wondering if it's supported by tether itself, as in they won't launch a similar competitor it seems to me that payment rail integrations would unlock a lot of value but who wins is the big question the network effects with providers like stripe would be a huge MOAT for whoever wins this, idk if it's Plasma but they're the first mover with a lot of connections/backing confused on why stripe or tether aren't just launching their own 🤔
