In trading, there is one principle that stands above any strategy — controlling your risk and position size. Many traders focus on finding the perfect entry, the perfect setup, or the perfect reversal point, but they forget that proper risk management is what determines how you leave the market: with profit, with a small loss, or with a blown account.
When your position size is appropriate and your risk is not inflated, even the strongest pullbacks are not a threat. They become manageable phases you can calmly sit through — or even use as an opportunity to re-enter at a better price. No pullback is dangerous to a trader who doesn’t overload their deposit.
