On the evening of February 26th, the Chinese Go Association released an official announcement stating that due to the fact that Qin Siyue carried a mobile phone📱 and used an artificial intelligence program on it during the competition, the Chinese Go Association imposed a penalty on her of revoking her professional rank and imposing an 8-year ban.
