some thoughts on what i'd love to see for artists on fc and/or base this is something i personally have a hard time with and have heard the same from other artists rn the minting, posting, and distributing of a photo are fragmented - i want to do all of these: mint all of my photos for archival post the photo on fc distribute the photo itself in my view, a "1,000 true fans" model is simple to understand while also likely providing the most financial upside for an artist, and if there is a gallery on the profile this creates a way to post once and earn ongoing as ppl explore the gallery, let the artist price each edition at whatever USDC they want, for me i'd prob just set this to $1 this aligns w the art collectors too who in general prefer scarcity a mini app could potentially work, but i think a mini app for this purpose still creates quite a fragmented flow - when i can collect my artist friends art directly in the feed or on their profile gallery (without them needing to post the mint page via the mini app), and have it be the image itself im collecting instead of the cast, i would be all over this as a collector, and as an photographer it would be all i use to put my photos onchain going foward onchain art is in its VERY early phases, and we have a chance to do whats right and give the artists full ownership, freedom, and flexibility 🌱
