if done well and at scale, pre-ipo perps likely have potential for material crypto flows in the next 1-2 yrs spacex on hyperliquid being the best example yet, seemed to work great and priced accurately come ipo time, this time around it was more accurate than the underwriters lol, hoping hyperliquid and others can expand this list to 10-100s of companies, imo this was the biggest W of coinbase's announcements today personally, i'd def invest in a pre-ipo basket if i felt like i knew i was gonna get the fair price once liquidity events do happen, and i'd consider them for clients at my RIA too assuming r/r can accurately be assessed, feels super important to be able to participate early as the public markets are getting later and later stage in growth cycles these days
