>the need to be able to trust things we see and use on the internet
>the need and importance of permanent archival on the internet
>the need for privacy on the internet
why are we here?
i believe w time all of the above will be solved w crypto, the ppl building here have continuously made progress on each for over a decade now
it’s not easy to ignore short term price, goes against our human nature, but i’m optimistic that the ppl who somehow find ways to tune it out and continue building tools that give freedom and rights to others, they’ll be on the right side of history
