The latest US jobs report delivered exactly the kind of macro signal #Bitcoin was waiting for.
September payrolls came in at just +29K vs +90K expected, while unemployment rose to 4.2%. Reuters reports that expectations for an October Fed hike fell sharply; depending on the timing and market measure, estimates moved into roughly the 14–23% range after the data. Reuters
Bitcoin reacted quickly, briefly pushing toward $87K.
Now Citi's $113K $BTC target is back in focus. But getting there would require roughly another 34% from the ~$84–85K area.
What could drive it?
Fed pressure ↓ → Yields/USD ↓ → Liquidity ↑ → BTC ↑
But there’s one problem: the US 10Y remains above 5%. That tells us financial conditions are still tight despite falling expectations for another immediate Fed hike. Reuters
So for me, $113K isn't about “Uptober.”
The real confirmation would be:
lower Treasury yields + renewed ETF inflows + #BTC breaking and holding new highs.
