once you start learning stuff with ai at a rate you hadn't encountered since college
you realize how vain of a pursuit it is to be the first to predict something. there is so much going on in the present/future there's really no point in dwelling on the past
this feels ironic because prediction is future related. but not really- you predict once, and all that matters after is continual learning/execution. just predicting things means very little
the laziest version of execution on prediction is trading. in this way i respect prediction markets as a potential forcing function for execution
