I have to admit I too may have been far too harsh, quick to judge and honestly not open minded enough regarding the recent Farcaster developments, not focusing on the potential.
I don't really want to be someone (jaded) that easily puts down teams and people trying new pathways to increase moat and evolve their product and protocol.
What got me to notice that I was leaning a bit too much into that side, was seeing the sheer mass of bad takes and knee jerk reactions over these recent adjustments on OpenSea, especially these latest ones regarding displaying $ values for NFTs the default.
People were complaining for years that OpenSea was stuck in the past and not trying to evolve. Now that they've freshened up their protocol and are trying new things, literally working for many people's down-only 2021 NFT bags where whatever theose holders are doing certainly isn't working to attract new capital, Adam Hollander and OpenSea get viciously attacked over any single new thing they do try to introduce new people to the space and NFTs.
Godspeed to teams that keep trying.
