According to Wu, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin released the "L2 Security and Finalization Roadmap" on the Ethereum Magicians forum. He proposed a "2-choose-3" architecture based on optimistic proofs, zero-knowledge proofs, and a trusted execution environment.
