From 2024 to date, a total of 28 cases of assistance have been received involving Hong Kong people claiming to be detained in Southeast Asian countries and unable to leave the country. Including the six people rescued, 25 people have been rescued and returned to Hong Kong. The task force is following up on the remaining three cases of people who have not yet returned to Hong Kong.
